Day 3 – Organize your zine collection.
Confession time: I spent the day swimming and eating ice cream with my kids so I didn’t organize my zine collection. But, I did take photos of my collection and wanted to share a little about it.
My zine collection is stored in a large “under the bed” plastic container. I have 345 zines in the container! My zine collection started in 2004, so it is eight years old. I actually had a lot more zines in my collection but when I moved cross county last year, I downsized my collection quite a bit.
I think organizing my collection is a great idea. It’s something I will add to my 2012 to-do list. I’d like to have an actual list of zines and writers to keep with my collection.
Where do you store your collection? How many zines do you have?
I have concluded that I will not be successful in making a daily comic each day in July, but I have been reading a zine every day!

Today, I read the zine Cat’s Claw Herbal by harmony. I checked it out from the Olympia Timberland Library last week. I really enjoyed it and learned quite a bit about herbs and making herbal salves.
